Previous year question papers (PYQs) are the single best way to understand a real exam. We don't host copyrighted papers — instead, here are the official, free sources and the method our toppers use. From Veda Topper International, Irinjalakuda.
Where to get official papers (free)
Government & board sources
- SSC (CGL/CHSL/MTS): official site — ssc.gov.in
- IBPS / Bank: ibps.in; SBI careers: sbi.co.in/careers
- RRB / Railway: rrbapply.gov.in & your regional RRB site
- Kerala PSC: keralapsc.gov.in (previous questions & answer keys)
- CBSE (Class 10 & 12): sample papers at cbse.gov.in / academic site
- Kerala SSLC / Plus Two: official Kerala education department / DHSE portals
Official sites are the safest source. Avoid random sites that may have wrong answer keys.
How to actually use PYQs (the topper method)
5 steps
- 1. Solve full papers under exam time — treat it like the real thing, no breaks.
- 2. Analyse every paper — mark silly mistakes, weak topics and time-wasters.
- 3. Find repeated patterns — some topics appear nearly every year; prioritise them.
- 4. Re-attempt your wrong questions after a week — that's where marks come from.
- 5. Track your score trend across papers — aim for steady improvement, not perfection.
